it's so annoying when i set aside saturday evenings for band, only to enter the band room to a roomful of people, all ten of them. i hate when people assume they are above practising. i don't care how talented they are, their talents can only take them a distance. the rest of the way is achieved with a lot of sweat and blood and gore. it is sickening to the guts, when you hear people bemoaning and then stating they will be missing the following practice since attendance is so abysmal. if everyone thought like that..we're never gonna be able to stage a concert. i have school and exams and papers too..so one shouldn't assume they're being terribly self-sacrificial in attending a three/half-hour practice once-a-fucking-week. it is so annoying spending a whole afternoon deciding what to include in the newsletter, only to find out there are people who received it but chose to ignore it. i'm also terribly devastated at the fact my sight-reading is horrendous..sounding like a fool on the glocks. i don't get lost..i just don't know what to do with my hands.
